Allan is a Folk/Country-Rock singer songwriter balladeer and story teller originally from Guildford in the UK. A prolific songwriter, Allan fronted the popular band Eat The Sofa from 1994 up until 1999 when he then relocated to his current residence in Amsterdam.
Allan’s music has taken a more acoustic and introspective direction under the guidance of producer Rudy Kronfuss of Sirion Music and this collaboration has so far led to seven albums being published world-wide between 2012 and 2017.
January 2015 saw the release of the album "Songs like Children" which received wide attention on line with more than 3 million streams. It was backed up by the 2016 release “Songs Like Children II”.
In August 2018 Allan released a new collection of songs "Love, Truth and Fantasy" and “The Black Sheep Adventures”.
Allan continues to write and has launched his YouTube Channel in August 2020.
After a long break in live performances due to his unexpected hospitalisation and then the Covid lockdowns; he looks forward to performing again.
